After their first successful drop in 2019, Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market, also known as CPFM, have dropped another collaboration line
CPFM was founded by designer Cynthia Lu in 2015, and has continuously grown throughout the years, thanks to the brand’s unique take on streetwear. CPFM has previously collaborated with brands such as BAPE, Puma, and McDonald’s, and CPFM even worked with Erewhon to create a branded collaboration smoothie.
Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market first collaborated in 2019, releasing the CPFM x Nike Air Force 1 in black and white colorways that sold out within minutes. Five years later, the fuchsia and moss-colored pairs launched, and with the help of Lil Yachty’s promotion, those pairs quickly sold out as well.
Kid Cudi gave his fans a glimpse into the new collection by sharing the new apparel gifted by CPFM on his Instagram. He posed in unseen pieces, including the unreleased jersey and track pants.
The rapper wore the CPFM x Nike hockey jersey in a neon yellow colorway that additionally blends black, blue, red, and white into the design. The mesh top is adorned with a number of abstract graphics and finished with the classic CPFM and Nike branding. Cudi also wore track pants in black, which are more subtle but have the phrase “there is no finish line” written down the left leg atop the Nike swoosh logo.
The upcoming collection includes several hockey-inspired jerseys: a reversible hockey jersey, a goalie jersey, a long-sleeve polo jersey, and a home vs. away jersey. All jerseys are branded and brightly colored, making them statement pieces of this new collection.
